東文研セミナー「Envisioning a Messianic Horizon: Ḥamūya’s Shīʿī-Inspired Eschatology and Its Impact on Kubrawī and Timurid Spirituality」が開催されました

9月25日（金）に東京大学駒場キャンパスにおいて東文研セミナー「Envisioning a Messianic Horizon: Ḥamūya’s Shīʿī-Inspired Eschatology and Its Impact on Kubrawī and Timurid Spirituality」が開催された。本セミナーは、二つの科研費プロジェクト「「スンナ派」と「シーア派」：自己意識と相互認識のイスラーム史研究にむけて」（森本一夫代表）、「サファヴィー朝時代における普遍史の変貌と伝統的「イラン史」像の形成」（大塚修代表）と東文研との共催で開催したものである。
講演者Seyed Saleh Pezhman博士（テヘラン大学助教）が扱ったのは、13～16世紀のイスラーム圏の知性史・精神史の重要テーマであり、様々な見解が戦わされてきた主題、すなわちスーフィズムとシーア派の接近・混交およびそうした思想的展開と15世紀を彩った複数の千年王国運動との関わり、であった。ペジュマーン博士の基本的な立場は、ハムーヤ（1251年没）にそのような混交の一つの重要な画期を見出し、ハムーヤの思想の15世紀の運動に対する影響を強調するものであった。
このセミナーには会場とオンラインそれぞれ約10名ずつ、計20名ほどが参加した。祖国の情勢が極めて不安定ななか、学術交流のため、国を離れ、日本までお越し下さったペジュマーン博士に感謝する。（文責：森本一夫）
