国際ワークショップ「中世南・東南アジアにおける仏教僧院の支援および社会的文脈についての碑文史料」のお知らせ
科学研究費補助金基盤研究（A）一般（18H03569）「グプタ朝以降のインド仏教の僧院に関する総合的研究」（研究代表者：久間泰賢）、プロジェクトDHARMA「「ヒンドゥー」苦行のドメスティケーションと南・東南アジアの宗教的形成」（欧州研究会議・欧州連合ホライゾン2020研究革新プログラム 809994）および東京大学東洋文化研究所は、このたび国際ワークショップ「中世南・東南アジアにおける仏教僧院の支援および社会的文脈についての碑文史料」を開催いたします。
本ワークショップでは、権力との関係や経済との関わり、社会的文脈など、仏教僧院の日常的・世俗的側面を、中世南・東南アジア各地の碑文史料に基づいて議論することで、各地域における仏教の社会経済的基盤の差異と類似を解明し、仏教の衰退および隆盛の要因について一定の洞察を得ることを目指します。
