本学博士課程大学院教育プログラム・多文化共生・統合人間学プログラムと東洋文化研究所東洋学研究情報センターとの共催で実施した上記ワークショップは、以下のプログラムに従って、2014年2月27日に、東洋文化研究所3階大会議室で実施されました。

 アジアの18大学を対象にした4300強の学生調査の意義については、招へいされた教員たちからきわめて高い評価を受けました。また個々の報告は、学部生を中心に行われたが、この点についても驚嘆の声があがりました。中国の台頭やこれに伴う周辺地域との摩擦、ソフトパワーをめぐる力学、地域統合をめぐる理想と現実など、アジアの地政学的変化が学生の意識や行動に大きな影響を与えている点が再確認され、今後は、データの共同利用による大学院生レベルでの比較研究、共同報告会が必要だという提案もなされました。

 本研究所では今後とも、こうしたチャレンジングなアジア横断的社会調査を実施するともに、その解釈をめぐるセミナーを多く開催していく予定です。
