Title: Islamic Law and the Liberation of Women Slaves in Iran

Abstract:
This lecture represents the voices of female enslaved people in 19th and 20th centuries Iran who fought to escape enslavement, the difficult situations they encountered and various methods they employed to gain freedom as well as the legal implications.
