Workshop titled "Repositioning Japanese Political Thought" is to be convened on September 2 in the institute. 8 scholars from Ireland and Japan gather together to discuss the history of "Japanese political thought" while incorporating related research overseas and plan to raise new questions from comparative and other perspectives. Professor emeritus of the University of Tokyo, Watanabe Hiroshi, will give concluding comments after the 8 presentations. The event is open to public and all are welcome.
