【Abstract】
The speaker will report current situations of Uruk, Ur, and Eridu in the Sumer region of Iraq, which had been registered as cultural heritages by UNESCO in 2016, and trends of foreign countries’ archaeological works there. In addition, the speaker and the commentator will discuss how we, Japanese researchers, will be able to contribute to archaeological studies and other works in the Sumer region.
