取り組んでいるテーマ


専門は南アジア古代・中世初期史。碑文、特に銅板文書を始めとするサンスクリット史料の読解を通して農村社会とそこにおける権力関係を研究する。ベンガルを主な対象地域として、各地の碑文史料の収集も行なっている。
