井戸 美里（いど みさと）

取り組んでいるテーマ

日本中世の美術を中心に、そこに描かれた図像学的な意味とともにそれらが享受された空間について同時代の歴史、文学、芸能史などを視野に入れた横断的な研究を目指している。屏風、障子、衝立、掛け幅、絵巻物などに描かれた内容を分析しながら、西欧のタブローとは異なる形態を持つこうした絵画作品が、法会などの宗教的な行事や茶の湯や能などの芸能が行われた儀礼の場においてどのように機能していたのかを、同時代の東アジアにおいて共有されていたイメージと比較しながら考察している。
