@Both the prayer room and corridors are in an arch-structure. However, the side rooms on either side of the prayer room have arch-spans of three different sizes, corresponding to the size of the domes. It has eaves in the upper part of the facade, and chahatris decorate the space above the eaves. The central prayer room has a large dome through squinch arches on the thick walls inside the central iwan. The ribbed domes of the side rooms are supported by triangle pendentiv in corbel style. The exterior, displaying these three domes, has a very Indian look, which has not been seen since the Tugluq period. The side rooms have multiple pillars and the use of post and beam structure with double columns is prominent. To the north of the central courtyard, there is the tomb of Islam Khan made of red sand stone and that of Salim Shishti, made of white marble stone. (Naoko Fukami)
