Call for Papers for 3rd International Joint Workshop for Young Sociologists

  Institute for Advanced Studies on Asia (IASA), University of Tokyo, and Institute of Sociology (IOS), Academia Sinica, Taiwan, will be co-hosting 3rd International Joint Workshop for Young Sociologists on 19th and 20th of March, 2012, at IOS.
  Those who wish to present a paper are requested to send e-mail to Prof. Shigeto Sonoda (shigetosonoda[at]ioc.u-tokyo.ac.jp), co-organizer of the joint workshop, with the following information by 31th of January, 2012.

4.Summary (200 Words Maximum)

  Those who are qualified to apply are 1) graduate students (MA, Ph.D.) of University of Tokyo or post-docs who are studying at the University of Tokyo. Topics should have something to do with sociological inquiries in a broad sense.
  After checking the quality of the summary, Prof. Sonoda will announce those who were selected as paper presenter by 5th of February, 2012. Those who are accepted as a paper presenter are requested to submit full paper by 1st of March, 2012. About six paper presenters will be selected.
  All the expenditures including airfare tickets, accommodation, per diem of four-day (three nights) stay will be covered by the JSPS’s program’s budgets.
  The co-organizer sincerely hopes that many young sociologists will apply for this call for papers.
