1. Japan takes concrete actions toward the realization of low-carbon growth in East Asia, including the East Asia Low Carbon Growth Partnership Dialogue held in Tokyo in 15th April.

2. Japan in particular has already provided more than USD 7billion of assistance in East Asia region as Fast Start Finance to address climate change up to 2012.

Japan supported projects in various areas such as energy saving, renewable energy, disaster prevention and forest preservation, utilizing Japan's advanced technologies and experiences.

3. Japan continues to promote effective regional cooperation toward the low-carbon growth in East Asia through public-private cooperation, based on the discussion in the East Asia Low Carbon Growth Partnership Dialogue.
