BAZ BAHADUR'S PALACE

@

@ This palace is a majestic construction, consisting of halls and rooms with joined arch-shaped openings, surrounding a courtyard. In addition to the central courtyard, there is a building. In the middle of the north courtyard, there is a magnificent pond. The pond, filled with water, and the corridors with arch-shaped pillars must have created a sparkling beauty for the palace. What is prominent in this palace is the two baradaris, or pavilions supported by 12 pillars with high domes. Beautiful arches supported by round slender pillars succeed in creating a noble atmosphere that is far superior to any other building of the same kind. (Matsuo Ara)
